Images from Christmas 2018 - The Advent Inspiration Guide

During this Christmas season I hardly pulled out my camera or laptop. It was a refreshing few weeks with no work and lots of play.

When the boys had screen time I picked up a book instead of my laptop, and managed to read 4 novels during the break. And, I’m so pumped to say that Noah beat that and is currently working on his 6th book of the break. My heart is bursted at having passed down the love of books to him!

Since I didn’t flex my creative muscles this season, I wanted to share these images from the 2018 Christmas season. These images will forever be some of my favourites, because of the memories they hold. Traditions that otherwise would only be memories in our minds are now captured as images for us to look back on for years to come.

I’ll be forever grateful for The Advent Inspiration Guide, which I purchased in 2018 and used throughout that Christmas season. It inspired me to try new things with my photography, and focus on the advent season in a different way. The guide featured a series of simple prompts that challenged me to create and capture some of the best parts of the season.
